This area is a long splotch of green by satellite map that follows the path of the Ouachita River through south-central Arkansas and north central Louisiana north of Monroe. Some areas are quite isolated. Water levels and access can vary season to season, there may be much more blue, or much less blue, than shown on the map. Individual trip descriptions are below.
