Caddo National Grassland, Coffee Mill Lake, Lake Crockett
Kayak route trail maps on Coffee Mill Lake and Lake Crockett, two adjacent lakes in the Caddo National Grasslands between Bonham and Paris. The lakes are just north of the new Bois d’Arc Reservoir. Both have public boat launches off of Highway 409 and their attraction is that they are isolated and less used than some of the bigger lakes in the area. Since they are so close separate trips are combined in one map. Both are quite pretty; the routes are basically just loops along the shore. Caddo Grasslands also has some nice camping areas.
