Hugo WMA, Kiamichi River, Rattan Landing, Oklahoma C
Another route into the Hugo WMA starting from Rattan Landing off Highway 3. This one goes up some streams that flow into the old river, and ultimately makes a loop that comes back around to the Kiamichi itself. Completing the loop required pulling the boat over a section of logs and brush (see picture). The yellow turnaround dots were points at which things became too shallow. Great place!
