Lake Bistineau State Park Louisiana B

A paddle trail in Lake Bistineau east of Shreveport. This paddle leaves from the state park launch and is just a test excursion on the lake with no particular point other than to explore the woods and shore to the north. The main channel is well marked with signs, shown in the inset in the map above. Lake Bistineau is highly recommended as a paddle spot. I have not seen an alligator here yet though.
