Steinhagen, Martin Dies SP E
Kayak paddle trail route map at Steinhagen Martin Dies. This is a fairly intricate Steinhagen paddle route out of Martin Dies SP. The path and directions taken are shown as red lines, and the arrows allow retracing of the actual route taken. The rule is to do all the red lines in the specified direction (maybe a few small drawing mistakes). The point was to explore the small channels that connect Steinhagen to the south with the Neches River to the north. Those connections are complicated, and it was a challenging paddle, dead ends, brushy protages, etc.
