Steinhagen, Martin Dies State Park, Wolf Creek

This is a Steinhagen paddle route with the purpose of going up Wolf Creek as far as possible. The entry to Wolf Creek seems to turn back time, it feels so primitive. The stream isn’t big, but some of the alligators in it are. The route goes past Highway 92 but at after a while I gave up. This was a hard out and back paddle, lots of obstructions, but good challenge.
