Steinhagen, Martin Dies State Park, Wolf Creek
This is a Steinhagen kayak paddle route with the aim of going up Wolf Creek as far as possible. The entry to Wolf Creek seems to turn back time, it has a primitive feel. The stream isn’t big, but some of the alligators are. The route goes past Highway 92 but after a while I gave up. This was a fairly challenging out and back paddle, lots of obstructions.
