Upper Ouachita NWR D Finch Bayou Kayak Paddle Trip
There is a lake southwest of the Finch Bayou Rec Area called Finch Lake. To paddle the lake you can drive south on Park River Road, or east on Hooker Hole Road, and near where the two roads intersect there is a bridge and put-in. From the launch you paddle north into the lake. There is a private camp along the south side of the lake which I drove up to but left. It may also be possible to launch along Public Landing Road to the north.
